Your Newest Nutrition Friend

We all know the internet is a great tool to answer basically any question we have. But any Joe Shmoe can publish information for the world to see without actually knowing or believing it’s true. For this reason, I’d like to give you someone you can trust. I would like to introduce you to the best nutrition resource out there for nutrition the public. Meet eatright.org. This website is produced by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as a resource to the public for safe and reliable nutrition information.

Eatright.org has endless amounts of information regarding nutrition and healthy habits. There are multiple tabs that are easy to access on their home page that direct users to topics such as food, health, fitness, kids, seniors, men, women and food safety. Their goal is to provide the public with reliable and safe advice that is easy for people to understand and to incorporate into their lives.

The best part about this website, is all the information is evidence based. This means that the information being presented has been previously put through studies that test its reliability and validity. These studies are then analyzed by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and rewritten in a way that is applicable to you. I love this because readers can be confident that what they are reading is as helpful, accurate and up to date as possible.

If you are ever looking for specific nutrition advice, this is the place to go. Take advantage of information specially picked out for you by our nations registered dietitian nutritionists (for those of you who don’t know, this is the highest form of licensing for a nutrition/dietetics professional). You can be confident the information is true and easy to use right away. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Keep pedaling,

Cara
